What is NatureNest Playgroup?

NatureNest is Hong Kong’s pioneering nature-themed playgroup, thoughtfully blending Montessori methodology with wilderness exploration for children aged 1-5. Born from the belief that concrete jungles need wild spaces, we’ve created a program where young explorers reconnect with the earth. Our unique approach weaves practical life skills , sensorial discovery and independence-building into every session.

Here, nature is the ultimate teacher. Children engage in guided “work” with natural materials like pinecones, wood, and fabric while developing eco-awareness through planting native species and water activities. Seasonal rhythms guide our activities, from mud kitchen experiments and STEAM based activities to nature-themed arts and crafts.

  • Sensorial Discovery → Texture hunts (soil/seed/stone), scent gardens, sound mapping, indoor playground
